Greenfield Environmental Solutions Group Acquires Cannon Oil and Gas Well Services

Denver, CO., August 8, 2022 – Greenfield Environmental Solutions Group (“Greenfield”), a decommissioning services provider for the energy sector, today announced the acquisition of Cannon Oil and Gas Well Services (“Cannon”), a premier plugging and abandonment (“P&A”) company with more than 40 years of operating experience in Wyoming.

“Cannon’s high-spec well service rigs are a perfect complement to our fleet and mission to deliver endto-end plugging and abandonment services to the oil and gas industry,” said Michael Rigg, Chief Executive Officer of Greenfield. “I am excited for this opportunity, as the Cannon team brings decades of experience to Greenfield.”

The Cannon business includes workover rigs, cement pump trucks, and a modernized bulk cement facility outside of Rock Springs, Wyoming. Greenfield intends to retain all legacy Cannon locations as the company grows its service footprint. Greenfield has acquired additional wireline trucks to complete the turnkey P&A offering in the new bases of operation.
